Carly Rae Jepsen Breaks Records & Reigns Supreme On Billboard’s Hot 100!
Canadian songbird Carly Rae Jepsen threw a wish in a well and it turned into a glimmering pot of Billboard gold!
Not only is she gearing up for the release of her debut album, Kiss, on September 18 and touring with Justin Bieber, but she now has yet ANOTHER career milestone to celebrate!
The numbers are in and it looks like Carly Rae’s Call Me Maybe has remained steady at number one for the NINTH week in a row on the Billboard Hot 100 chart!
The catchy tune is now officially the LONGEST Hot 100 number one run of 2012, beating out Gotye’s Somebody That I Used To Know, which stayed at number one for eight weeks!!!
Could Carly Rae possibly nab the longest run for the ENTIRE year??? Guess we’ll have to wait and see if another super infectious track comes along!
